This cozy cabin is located about half way up Banks Mountain, with beautiful views of the surrounding natural environment. The Adanvdo cabin (Cherokee word for heart or spirit), was built to share the beautiful mountain where the owners live. It was built with the tiny house concept in mind and offers everything you could need in a cabin, while only taking up 300 square feet. A custom-made Murphy Bed with a queen Casper mattress is available for comfortable sleeping. There is also a loft that can accommodate a double bed for an additional guest. A small closet with a hanger bar is located next to the Murphy bed. All bed and bath linens are included.
The cabin is furnished for comfort, warmth and charm. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 5-cubic-foot refrigerator (larger than a typical hotel fridge), a 2-burner ceramic stove and a toaster/convection-oven. A new gas barbecue is located on the back deck. This will give you more options when it comes to cooking. A two-seater bar is available in the kitchen for eating and preparing food. The kitchen is fully stocked with condiments, coffee and teas. You only need to bring groceries. The cabin features a flat-screen television mounted in the kitchen on a swivel for easy viewing. The cabin has DVDs for movie night. There is no cable on the mountain. Step out of the French doors to the back deck, which has a hot tub and chairs to enjoy the view. There is also a gas barbecue grill, as well as a firepit area with a beautiful log bench.
The owner lives right next door but they built a special gate/wall that gives you the maximum privacy. Belle is a friendly Cocker Spaniel who barks at times. The internet is satellite-based because the cabin is located in the mountains. If you depend on WiFi for streaming or working, they can’t guarantee a fast connection.
The cabin is in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The cabin is located on a quiet mountain road that leads to the top of a mountain. There are some permanent residents as well as other vacation homes. However, they are all spread out to give you the feeling of privacy. Hendersonville is small enough to be easy to explore, but big enough to have a lot to do. Enjoy a leisurely picnic on a sunny terrace or stroll through the eclectic mix shops in the pedestrian friendly downtown.
