Whippoorwill Ridge offers a tranquil getaway in Red River Gorge. The 750 square-foot cabin sleeps four people and has two bedrooms, three beds, two bathrooms. Enjoy the peace and quiet of a cabin with all of the amenities of home. The Whippoorwill Ridge, a hand-hewn cabin nestled among the mountains of Eastern Kentucky, is a beautiful log cabin. The log cabin has a beautiful hand-built chimney and fireplace made of sandstone quarried in the area. One bedroom and a loft overlook the living room. There is no door between the loft and bedroom, only a passageway. The loft area features a queen-size bed and a small terrace, perfect for watching the sun set. The living room has a sleeper couch, and the kitchen comes fully equipped.

The large wraparound porch makes a great gathering place, particularly during rain. The backyard has a fire pit and a woodshed if you are mesmerized by a fire and the weather changes. After a hike in the Gorge, soak in the hot-tub. Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge Geological Area can be reached in 25 minutes. Enjoy the area by taking a drive, hiking or just relaxing in the log cabin. Pets are welcome with an extra fee. However, they must be accompanied or crated at all times if left alone in the cabin.
