The Summit Log Cabin Sleeps 8 People in a Comfortable Rustic Style

If you’re looking to get inspired for your own log-cabin home or retreat, this beautiful model named the Summit is sure to inspire. It’s a rustic-styled home that features a real wood exterior and the classic log style interior.

The rustic style is open on the main level, which follows the open concept. There is a small lofted area and a walkout cellar below. There is plenty of space for cozy nooks where you can read, sleep, or relax with family and friends.

The home offers stunning views all around, but it also has porches along the side and back of the house. Some of these spaces are covered for privacy and protection from the weather elements.

The circle drive at the back of your property will make it easy for you to get to the front of or back of your home.

Some of the most beautiful parts of this house are the outdoor areas. This open porch, for example, is my favorite place to relax in the sunshine with a tall cold beverage and a table.

You can also create a reading nook on your side porch by adding a few bird feeders, and some Adirondack style chairs.

There are also a few other areas outside, like the fire pit. This is a great place to relax on chilly days or toast marshmallows over embers for homemade S’mores.

I love that they added their own little barbecue area for the weekend.

The walkout basement also offers a nice, open space to accommodate another picnictable and this beautiful hammock. Perfect for relaxing in the sun and enjoying a breeze.

This hot tub is the perfect place to relax. After a long workday, this getaway is perfect!

You will love this part of your porch, with its outdoor fireplace. It is a great way to warm up the area while you relax in the cold winter evenings!

In the Summit log home, you’ll find even more beautiful spaces. Take this open living room with sofas on every side and the fireplace that is built into the wall. It’s surrounded by the ever-popular trapezoid windows that bring in natural lighting.

Below, you can view how the living space opens up to a small dining nook and a large kitchen. This creates a great living space on the main floor with bedrooms both sides and a small nook to make it comfortable.

The kitchen in this house is simple and comfortable. The cabinets have the same gorgeous woodwork and stainless steel appliances to update them. On the corner, you can see a built in wine cooler that makes it easy to have everything on hand.

There is no formal dining room in this house, but you can easily pull out a small table that seats 2 to 4 people.

You will find a beautiful game room downstairs with plenty of space to play your favorite games like foosball or pool.

This entertainment area is located on the lower level of the walkout basement, but also offers additional storage space and sleeping space.

The bedrooms of this cabin are also comfortable and beautiful. Below is a picture of one of these rooms with a private deck.

All of the bathrooms are the same: wood walls, tiled floors, white toilets and sinks.

The master bedroom is located off the main floor. This space is large enough for a king sized bed and has the en suite bathroom through a beautiful arched door.

This bathroom is spacious and large, but it follows the same style with a combination wood, tile, stone and white.

This unique stone-walled custom shower is my favorite. It has a slight incline so that it is wheelchair accessible. It is a beautiful place to live.

Of course, guests or children who want to be near their parents are not forgotten. This room includes a bunk bed that has built-in shelving, as well as a combination queen bed and twine.

This room has a nice wardrobe, a television mounted on the wall, and plenty of natural light coming in from both sides.

The guest bathroom has the same features as the others, including beautiful woodwork, a bathtub/combination shower, as well the classic toilets, sinks, mirrors, and storage.
